Biology of the Amur Leopard
Habitat-- The Amur Leopard are known to live in forests, such as temperate, broadleaf, and mixed forests. These tend to be cooler regions, which leads to one of their adaptations.

- They have adapted really long legs which enables them to walk on snow with ease
- A thick coat of fur which can be 1 to 3 inches thick, helping them stay warm through the cold
- Can jump up to 10 ft. vertically and 19 ft. horizontally helping them catch their prey and and get around faster. They are also very fast runners and can reach speeds up to 35 mph.
- Amur Leopards have night vision which helps them to hunt and get around at night.
